    ...no.

Are you in a particularly good mood or something?

No. I'm confused, befuddled, happy, dismayed, worried, over-joyed, and curious. But such is love...

What have you been up to lately?

I've been sitting with my cat, waiting for him to die, which he did this afternoon.

    Do you regret asking?

I don't, though I'm very sorry for your loss. I don't pray often, but if you wish, I'll say one for your cat.

    Will there be a funeral?

We're going to bury him tomorrow, I guess. I'd rather wait until my brother gets home on Wednesday, but eh. My parents aren't even going to tell him that he died (though he knows that he's been dying) until he gets home.

If you were away at college in the middle of finals, and your pet died, would you want to be told right away?

In the middle of finals... I don't think the added stress of a pet's death would be helpful. If it was a friend, or family member, then yes of course. Though I think a pet can wait.

Does that sound harsh to you?

    Yes.

Isn't it logical that a pet is like a member of the family, and is closer than most (non-immediate) family members?

It's logical yes, but look at the nature of pets. They're dependant on a caretaker, and because of that feelings can develop between them and their owners. You have to feed, groom, clean up after, shelter, and provide for a pets general comfort. One can develop a strong affection for something they have to provide for to such an extent.

Would you consider going out with someone who was also a single parent?

    You tell me.

Would you be much offended if I went off to bed now? It's nearly 2:30 here.

I wouldn't be offended at all. And I don't recall asking you out, but I wouldn't have been against the idea.

So what of it: Would you consider going out with someone who was a single parent?

Depends on a lot of other stuff. I wouldn't rule them out just because they were a single parent.

    Why do you ask?

    Because she asked me out.

Not that I don't enjoy these question and answer sessions with you, I really enjoy them, but weren't you supposed to go to bed?

I get dressed and then brush my teeth. Once in the morning and once in the nighttime.

    What about you?

same - once morning, once before going to bed. More in details, both times in pyjamas, after breakfast or just before going to sleep.

    Any surprising fact about it?

Not really. I always forget to brush my teeth in the morning though. But then, I don't eat breakfast either, so there's not a whole lot I do in the morning.

Most interesting toothpaste you've ever tried (or want to)?

SunSmile. Bio toothcream. I've only seen it at my friend's bag, though I'd try it....

    And you?

I think I tried brushing with Arm & Hammer Baking Soda once. It was kind of like brushing my teeth with sand.
