What's your take on extraterrestrial life? -

Array Mel: Apparently not.
G?F?: Cool, let me know if you take it, that's be neat.
My take on extraterrestrial life? I think it has to exist... whether we'll be able to communicate with it (or even recognize it) will be the question. We (humans) have such a narrow mindset that even when something's staring us in the face, we try to rationalize it away. I think we'll find extraterrestrial life within our lifetimes (yes, even mine, you whippersnappers). It may end up being some mould or bacteria or something like that, but it'll still be life.
What do you think? Pound for pound, the amoeba is the most vicious animal on earth. -
12-09-2005 10:54 PM #16451 I think that there is somthign.. i don;t know what really.. i just assume that it must be possible... expecially sence there are "flying saucer" pictures on roman ruins and egyptian pyrmids..

Array Probably The Stand... it ended up being a 6 hour miniseries that actually turned out pretty good.
What about you - do you have a favourite book -> movie translation? Pound for pound, the amoeba is the most vicious animal on earth. -
12-09-2005 11:06 PM #16455 none.. books are books.. and movies are movies.. and even if a movie is following hte same plot as the book.. its totally different cuz none of them are ever what is in my head
do you like to dance? -

Array yup, true too.
Do you think that 15th out of 19 is good for your first tournament (epee, of course!)? I want to be remembered when I'm dead. I want books written about me. I want songs sung about me. And then, hundreds of years from now, I want episodes of my life to be played out weekly at half past nine by some great heroic actor of the age.

Array I sure didn't, there were only four people and I came in second.
