What's boethius's "the consulation of philosophy"?

    Why do you read?

Yes but since we have a Doctorate of Philosophy in our club it gets difficult to actually argue anything.

How educated is your fencing club?

We're all educated in the verious years of high school?

Whats your favorite martial arts movie?
I want to be remembered when I'm dead. I want books written about me. I want songs sung about me. And then, hundreds of years from now, I want episodes of my life to be played out weekly at half past nine by some great heroic actor of the age.

    40, at times 39.5, sometimes 40.5
(to all US citizens, pls check on the converter yourself, what shoe size this may be, in case you'd be REALLY interested, which I doubt......

Do you like cowboy boots? Or motor bike boots for that matter, I get both confused at times, though they really are very different.

    Cowboy boots: Bleurgh.

    Biker boots:
(Would want to find a pair in my size that looks good and yet doesn't cost a fortune.)

Why is it that all (well, most anyway) cool looking shoes are only made in Mens sizes?
    Fencing is my only PvP.

I don't know why - but I must agree. On the other hand, your taste possibly differs from the big general girlies taste of shoes plus from the general girly shoes design, too. (so does mine.......)

Would you rather bike with shoes or shoe with bikes?

    I don't understand your question!

Why do women tend to have so many more shoes than men? I mean I only own like five pairs of shoes- skate shoes, cross trainers, fencing shoes, sandals, and one pair of black dress shoes.

EDIT: there are exceptions of course like my father who has like 50000 variations of the brown or black dress shoe.

Because we know how to accessorize. I may only wear the same couple pairs of shoes during the average week, but I have an Imelda Marcos-style rack of them, half of which don't even fit anymore.

Is it true that wearing really high heels all the time permanently shortens your achilles tendon, or is that another urban myth?

I would imagine it could be restretched just like any other tendon?

What's the most you have ever spent on shoes?

$110, which is very unusual for me.

Do you split wood with a hydraulic splitter or by hand?
