Do fish sleep? | Most all fish spend time in an energy-saving state that can be called
"rest", and we might even call their behavior "sleep", though it is probably
different than "sleep" in most landanimals. Many fish, like Bass and perch, rest on or under logs at night. Coral reef fish active in the day, hide and rest in crevices and cracks in the reef to avoid being eaten at night.
The resting behavior of fish is very different from their behavior the
rest of the day. Many minnows, for example, which are very active in
schools during the day, scatter and remain motionless in shallow water at night. Many fish "rest" or "sleep" during the day and are active at night instead, but almost all fish sleep. There are some animals that never stop swimming, like many species of shark, however, they HAVE to keep moving to push water through their mouths in order to breathe, and they may still sleep while moving, but no one knows.
Do athletes from Puerto Rico represent PR or USA at the Olympics? |

| If memory serves, their brain waves have some patterns that are very similar to those of REM and Non-REM in mammals. So yea, I guess you could say they do "sleep."

| Worked at a barbeque place one summer. Good food, but every night i'd come home smelling like it. I had to burn the clothes and shoes I worked in after it was all over.

| The 25 year old couch in front of the TV in the basement. Springs are shot, upholstery is shot, but it's super comfy. Plus, I grew up with it, so there's the whole "comfort zone" thing, too.

| I guess it would be owning a shop dedicated to Maneki Neko, only because I can't think of anything decent. Getting paid a ****load to fence would be pretty nice.
Whats the wierdest thing you've seen being sold on Ebay, and did you bid on it?

| My favourite piece of furniture would have to be my couch. That's a lie. I was going to say 'bed' but I wasn't allowed.
Whats the wierdest thing you've seen for auction on Ebay, and did you place a bid on it?

| I don't go on Ebay. I buy my stuff for money from stores. Or online, when I have no choice.
Do you like foot long hot dogs? (Or franks or weiners or whatever. I'm more sensitive, thanks to the regional language difference threads.) |

| I love foot longs. I know this one chick, who took a sausage- a big, gnarly, oversized sausage, and swallow it whole. Just put the whole thing down her throat. Pretty hot too. We call her "the sausage lady."
What were some nickname's you've had in the past? |
