I think we agreed on an autumn wedding, so my relatives can take time off from nut-gathering to come to the wedding and following nut-based feast.

    Where shall we have it?

in a forest where you can find lots of nuts.

shouldn't you have it in spring? your relatives are busy in the fall preparing for hibernation.

No... I think late autumn is best then they’re nice and plump. Does anyone like stews in the fall?

I usually play tennis for about an hour, then take a cold (cool) shower.

Why would anyone eat rabbits? What did Thumper do to deserve this?!

$$$$$$, or, more specifically, the lack thereof.

Then again, why would someone who plays tennis at this time of year be worried about AC?

Although rabbits are evil, I don't eat them.

Did you know that they are one of the least nutritious meats?

I don't know... but I hear that cultures who eat dogs consider the black ones to be most nutritious.

Considering my posts, is it hard to believe I was a vegan for 15 years and that I am still semi-vegetarian?

    Yes, indeed.

What are the reasons behind your vegetarianism?

I tried it for a week and felt really good. Decided to keep doing it, after 3 months cheese and eggs seemed to fatty so I became vegan. I never intended to do it, my body just felt better.

Going vegan was the best thing I could have done as I had an undiagnosed thyroid condition and my metabolism had slowed down. It kept my weight and cholesterol down. Unfortunately, it made it more difficult to diagnose as I showed less symptoms than most people.

This lasted 15 years. At that time my thyroid was about to stop functioning. As a result, I was having trouble maintaining my blood sugar on a vegan diet. My doctor suggested that I start eating meat, as increasing the protein helps stabilize glucose levels. I ate game meats and organics because of the lack of hormones (because of my condition, my body reacted strongly to most domestic meats).

I tend to still prefer lots of veggies and have to remind myself to eat meats/fish.

Has anyone seen ThatReallyHurt's weather pictures in the photo gallery? They are amazing.

Either Chicago int he dead of winter or Minnesota in the dead of summer. Uncannilly bad cold and heat. Give me an ocean breeze, for god's sake!

What do you detest more - the cold or the heat?

Cold. By far. You can always take off more clothing and get wet to cool off.

    What about you?

I agree. I hated shoveling snow.

    What's your favorite hot spot?
