| Fish, if it's sashimi or nigiri.
Is it pop, soda pop, soda, or coke? |

What is the greatest achievement in the past 100 years?

I love the popping sound... but decided the answer made me sound toooo blonde.
Don't you hate it when only your blonde brain cells are awake Monday mornings?
Damn dumb and late....

If someone gave you a one-way ticket anywhere on the planet (and you had to accept it!) then where would you go?

| At first take the possibilities are endless.
In an attempt to narrow things down, how long would I get to stay?

| Astronomy... it's very calming, stunning, and is one of those hobbies where you get pretty much instant gratification. You can also look at the same thing night after night and never get tired of it.
Have you ever looked through a telescope?

| Yes, I have, but only once when I was little.
I imagine it must be cool looking into a huge telescope, at a musuem.
Have you ever done that?

| Yep... it is very neat. I find it really humbling when I'm looking at, say, the Andromeda Galaxy and realize that the little particles of light that I'm seeing have been travelling for something like two and a half million years before going "splat" against my retina.
Have you ever seen a comet?

What planets have you seen before through your telescope?

| All of the ones around here (although I haven't had a good look at Earth, just a lamp post or two for lining stuff up). Lots of moons, too.
Of the lot, I like Saturn the best... I could go back to it again and again. Jupiter is also neat... it changes from night to night. The only ones that aren't all that great are Pluto and Neptune, since they're sooo far away.
Have you seen an eclipse?

| Yes, a lunar one.
Two questions:
What type of telescope do you have?
Did anyone besides me watch the World Curling Championships on ESPN2 this evening?

| I've got two - an Orion 8" f6 on a Dobsonian mount, and a Konus 8" f5 reflector on an equatorial mount. I take most of my pictures with my camera piggybacked on the Konus - the mount isn't precise enough to take long exposure pictures through the telescope. I was saving money for a new mount, but I, er... blew it on fencing gear.
I did not see the curling champs, sorry.
Do you like curling?
