| The day I beat an A in epee in a pool bout.
(To be fair, it was a 5-3 bout, and he hit on the mask twice without the point registering. But he also fleched in a 4-2 situation (double touch), which was dumb of him, so I feel that it's not like I got it completely out of luck.)
Is bigger better? |

| Why, of course - that goes without saying. Of course, I'm assuming you're talking about plates of spaghetti. Yum, spaghetti is great stuff.
Uh... do you like spaghetti? |

| Considering I haven't heard of it; it must not be very cool.
Would you rather burn your hand on a grill or stick your tongue to a metal pole? |

| Hypothetically, you're only going to have burgers on the grill if it's warm out, so the metal pole is probably also warm. Thus, I am in no danger of feezing my tongue to said metal pole. Burning my hand on the grill is infinitely more painful and dangerous than sticking my wet tongue on the warm pole; therefore, I would choose to place my tongue on the metal pole.
Alternatively, it could be freezing out, and therefore I wouldn't be grilling burgers, or even hotdogs. I would not be in danger of burning my hand on the grill if the Bar-B-Que pit weren't fired up. Therefore, in this situation, placing my hand on the grill would be a more reasonable, well-thought plan.
Although this is a simple either/or fallacy, the events you propose are mutually exclusive. I would simply choose the path that led to the least physical harm and emotional pain (a bunch of schoolkids laughing at me whilst my tongue was attached to a metal pole would not be the supremist of situations).
Given that I am originally from Southern California, and we don't have cold weather in California, there is higher probability that I am outside flipping a burger on the grill for a tasty cheeseburger snack than it is for the temperature to be below freezing. Hence, in the most likely scenario, I would be touching the metal pole with my tongue.
If you are not aware of it, does it exist?

Who thinks we need a "crassest poster on fencing.net" poll?
