Not particularly. They don't have my skin tone...

I'm recently facinated by the Great Lakes states.

How many U.S. States have you visited?

The parts that are cold. And liberal. The other parts just don't like "my kind".

Is there a place (on earth, in your country, anywhere) where you simply refuse to go?

Something like 23. Many are small, cold and liberal.

Is there a state you just refuse to ever visit?

I've been to it, but just don't like it and don't want to go back. Texas.

Have you ever been to Washington State? Impressions?

Beautiful scenery. Mountainous (at least near the coast!). Nice people. Relaxed. Great coffee. Good wineries. One of the few states I'd like to return to!

Thinking of going there?

Well, I've been there. But I feel like taking a vacation out to the Northwest, back to Washington, then up to British Columbia. I've never been up there in Western Canada, and think it's about time I got there.

What's has been your favorite state to visit and why?

Montana. One reason: Glacier National Park. Although Washington State and the Olympics runs a close second!

Why don't you like Texas? You do know we're not all rednecks down here? And we have a wide diversity of climates and geography?

I don't really know. I've been to DFW, Austin, Houston. Frequently to DFW and several times to Houston. Just all over not overwhelmed by anything. No real wows in architecture, no outstanding arts or cultural events (the painted cows all over Houston don't count as cultural for me), nothing outstanding in restaurants, services only so so, hotels... highish cost, nothing outstanding there. I never lived there... only traveling for business, but... I go to a lot of cities for work and all of them have been more appealing than the Texas trips. It's not the rednecks... I like rednecks in general. I just don't get no magic mojo feeling in Texas!

What do you like about Texas?

Oops. Late.

As a matter of fact, I have recently reported someone for a bad post!

I'll repeat my question from the late post: what do you like about Texas??

Do you hate any state for no apparent reason?

Yes - Alabama. Just because. And I really doubt the existence of Idaho. People sometimes *say* they've been there, but how do we really know that?

Have you ever seen "Private Idaho" (with Keanu Reeves and River Phoenix?)

No. Not all that fond of Keanu Reeves.

How many Idahoans does it take to screw in a lightbulb?

No one knows, because you must have electricity before you can have light bulbs.

Is the hokey-pokey really what it's all about?

If you have to ask, you'll never know.

If you have to ask, the answer is probably yes.

How much is that doggy in the window?
