"To Rule the Waves" by Arthur Herman. It's about the Royal Navy and its role in building the British Empire. Pretty good book.

It's also kind of cool, because I've been playing the "Pirates" PC game, and was getting beat up by two of the pirates that I just read about in the book.

    Do you read a lot?

Either a platypus, or those little tiny things that can go without water for years by turning themselves "off".

What's the least interesting creature in the animal kingdom?

Personally, I don't think there is one. I mean, even worms can be interesting if you chop them in half in the right place, they can grow back!

What do you think is the most interesting animal in the animal kingdom?

Hands down, humans. They can be really smart or really, really dumb. Don't see it to as great an extent in other species.

Would you ever buy a fur coat?

    No.
I don't resent (is this the right choice of word?) people who do - as long as you eat the animal whose fur you make coats out of! - but in my opinion there are other materials who will keep me warm.

What model is your mobile phone (if you have one)?
    Fencing is my only PvP.

Yes. They are flourescent with a giant pink flower on top of large, almost platformed slippers.

And no, i didn't buy them myself. My mum did, thinking they were a bargain at a pound.

(needless to say, i don't wear them in front of anyone i know...)

Yup, lots: saxophone (soprano, alto, tenor and baritone),
    Piano and
    Singing.

I have had a go at playing the flute as well, though i'm not too good at that yet.

    What's your favourate instrument?

Probably for the same reason my newest epee seems to have a 'waist' (a fat bit about 3/4 of the way down it, just suddenly a bulge, then it gets thin again!)

Incidently. Why does my epee have a waist?

    Nope....never seen it happen.

Why do I kick butt in the second half of all my DEs but it takes me half the bout to wake up. Can't I just fence well from the start?
