Well, the big one in back is what I wear for fencing, to keep my hair out of the way (you know how long it is) (oh, and I've discovered one of the rules of having long hair: never have hair longer than your arm, so you'll still be able to pick things up off the floor without your hair dangling in them (esp. good for icky things)); the small braid in front is to show that I am a Jedi Padawan (Ever seen SW:EpI?).
