Array Yes, I did read the paper, and while it is funny in a juvenile sense, it doesn't detract from your appeal at all.

Array 1) Watch and learn as much as you can... even outside of lessens.
2) If you are not in shape, put in some extra effort to get there. It will help your body do what your mind tells it to do. (In or out of shape has little to do with over or under weight. I dropped a lot of weight (again) and am really out of shape )
3) use the search... this thread is not likely to produce a serious response to a serious fencing question... it is more of a "hang-out" thread and we tend to get silly or whatnot. (There is a "new to fencing" section for just this kind of post.)
4) Be likeable and have fun with it.
Welcome to the sport.
[But what about-]
{No, I'm not gonna-}
[It's making me nuts!]
{Fine - sheesh.}
By the way... I think you would find "noob" or "noobie" more common spellings, but as the word implies....
[EDIT] okay, "newbie" works [/EDIT]

Array Was my post missing a question?
Actually, I fogot what thread I was in and though it was rather odd for someone to ask for tips in the 5xxxxx thread. So I was kinda brain-missing on that post.
Ok, now a real question:

Array It gets worse. There's also a little french and italian mixed in as well.
Sweet dreams.
You might want to try the costume shop down the street. The sombreros run a little tight, though.
