| Having been a part of a large family, and now being a part of a smaller one, I'd have to say the more the merrier. Much to my dismay.
Do you have any memorable family traditions?

| We make up holidays or sometimes hold real surprise birthday parties... such as months away from someone's birthday. I think messing with people's heads is our main tradition.
My favourite is being the easter bunny for my nieces and nephews. One year I completely messed with their heads by photoshopping an easter bunny in the background of a few pictures. Then had the pictures printed with the rest. Going through... they started flipping out.
My sister and I once planted an old bottle on the beach with a pirate map in it. They figured out it was us when they found the treasure chest full of chocolate gold coins and we had quickly dressed in pirate patches and bandannas while they were opening up the treasure chest.
The kids also like messing with the adults.
How about you?

| The only thing that comes to mind right now is the tamales we make every Christmas. That, and the wild parties my uncles on my father's side of the family would throw during the world cup. I was never able to get into soccer, though.
What's your favorite childhood memory?

| It is memories of spending weeks at time at my Grandparent's house in the summer. I loved watching and then helping my grandmother cook, all my crazy Great Aunts and Uncles coming over for big family parties, learning to play cards with all the adults, my Grandfather teaching me how to use tools, my Uncle teaching me to play chess - it was great. I miss them, still.
What should I have for lunch today?

| You can't go wrong with a good turkey sandwich.
What should I do to deal with the crushing disappointment I took this morning at my job?

| Find a different job.
I cannot even bear the people I work with anymore, is it acceptable to keep my door shut ALL the time?

| Yes, or you can come by and have a falafel with me for lunch.
(17th Street Falafel is pretty good)
There is change in the air (for my life), I fear and welcome it at the same time.
So, what ice cream flavor should I have?

How do I get my cat to quit standing on the keyboard and licking the tip of my nose while I'm trying to work?

| Stop rubbing your nose in cat nip? Alternatively you can give him/ her a bit of attention (and cat nip).
Are you having a slow or busy day today?

| Both. I am busy trying to get this hunk of code to actually work. It is very slowly cooperating.
Are you enjoying a sudden heatwave or something less warm?

| We're having a (typical) wet spell right now. May/June is quite unpredictable around here. I don't mind, but I feel bad for fellow f-netter Pauli who's visiting the area.
Do you have any plans for the weekend?

| Heatwave. I fear one of those "divorce moments" in my near future. My husband and I have not put the window units in yet - in spite of my suggesting it several times on pleasant weekends - but instead we will be attempting that in 97 degree weather tomorrow. Never a good plan for a peaceful afternoon.
How can I keep a civil tongue in my head during this process?

| Write (although I was surprised I could read it, perhaps there's hope for me yet).
Have you got any interesting plans for the day?
