| cisco is a type of cold-water fish that can be found in Lake Superior and northward.
You never offered me a lunch date and I fence. The next time I'm in the city I'll take you up on that.
Are you fencing tonight? I am. |

| Unfortunately, no. I have to work tonight, so fencing must wait until tomorrow.
Will you do my work for me, so I can go fencing?

What is a good cell-phone, I'm looking to upgrade mine. |

| Not in my family. My 3 year old loves to unwrap ALL the presents, whether they are hers or not...
What did you buy your child for Christmas? (if no kids, did you buy presents for any child?)

| Not yet. I prefer to wait until the last minute to shop.
Do you do anything for charity during the holidays?

| My charity is all year round. I've picked several people I know who live near or at the poverty line and help them out in some way on a consistent base. Often, it's paying for one of those nice luxuries they can't afford... like a membership at the local rec centre because fitness helps them be more self-sufficient with their disability. Or taking over a bill such as heating etc...
Yeah... I don't get the tax write-off, but at least the money goes to someone who needs it, rather than the charity itself. I also like that it makes very little difference in my life but a huge one in theirs.
Is there any charity or volunteer work that you do?

| No, I don't do charity work, but I donate money and clothes to Salvation Army and Amvets.
Any fun plans for the weekend?

| No, we make an advent wreath and light a candle on every Advent Sunday.
Should I make kanelbullar this weekend? |

| Are you having someone over for coffee? If so, absolutely, it is the only polite thing to do.
It has been a long week - do you think anyone would notice if I started taking sips off the Jack Daniels in my office? |

| Not if you use a long enough straw.
What would you think of Irish Coffee perhaps?

| Has potential but it would mean actually having to make the coffee, which is fifteen minutes I don't feel like waiting.
I forgot to take anything out of the freezer for a meal tonight, is it terrible to serve my child cereal for dinner? |

| Hell no. I eat cereal for dinner sometimes, especially if I'm in a rush to get to fencing.
Would it be terribly wrong of me to strangle the office b**** with my phone cord if she doesn't shut up soon?

| Oh, she's big, but not in a muscular way. You could take her.
Why are the people here in Buffalo so surprised to see snow?

| Denial.
Its like having a baby, if you REALLY remembered how much it all sucked no one would ever have a sibling. Same principal - people need to forget or else they would all move away.
How am I going to remember to get Chanukah candles? Oy! |
