Array For what? Generally chair but there could conceivably be situations where my answer would be reversed.
Is Matisyahu actually good or do people just like him for his beard? People don't dance no more (what!?),
They just stand there like this (that's right!),
They cross their arms and stare you down and drink and moan and dis (OK now!). -

Array I don't know, but I want his hat.
Have you ever considered being Amish? -
01-15-2007 11:18 PM #30063 Yes, but realized that I couldn't fence, as Amish people do not use electricity (the orthodox ones). So I sort of reversed my opinion.

Thus person 1 becomes the very first coach and person 2 become a student.
Or, in thesis 2; person 1 learns the skill of sword fighting and then just passes it on to other people -person 2 all the way to person x- in a clan/tribe/village so that they all know how to fight and survive as a group. Array The Boston Tea Party. They discovered that when you put pot in water, it flavors the water.

Array Not bad. No school, went fencing...
Looking forward to tomorrow? A synonym is a word you use when you can't spell the word you first thought of. -

Back to topic: No, I'm not. As of today, I no longer am drinking soda pop of any sort. I can't stand the taste of coffee or tea, and I don;t eat chocolate much at all, so this effectively cuts caffeine from my diet. A very long day indeed. Tomorrow will be worse, and then around Friday I'll start feeling better.

Array Ooh, working late again - it'll be a blast! Staying late, working... doesn't get much better than that!
When was the last time you fenced? Pound for pound, the amoeba is the most vicious animal on earth. -

Array Last night. =)
When will be the next time you fence? "When your opponent fears you, then's the moment when you give the fear its own rein, give it the time to work on him. Let it become terror. The terrified man fights himself. Eventually he attacks in desperation. That is the most dangerous moment, but the terrified man can be trusted usually to make a fatal mistake. You are being trained here to detect these mistakes and use them." -Frank Herbert, Dune -

Array Hopefully at a tourney this weekend.
Have you ever left something important behind at a far-away tourney (e.g. mask, weapon etc)? -

Array Thankfully no!
Have you ever thought you lost something, only to find it buried in your fencing bag? Array I know I've lost my keys in my bag several times.
Have you ever put something in your mask only to find it on your head when you put it on? -

Array My glove.
Have you ever forgot all your equipment before going to a practice? The preceding post brought to you by Rabid Monk (TM). Rabid Monk: informative, irreverent, interesting, random and downright odd posts, done with pride since 1983. -
01-16-2007 08:57 PM #30074 As a matter of fact yes! I have two fencing bags, one just filled to the top with practice swords and parts and one with my real stuff. One day I was late for open fencing, and as I rushed out the door I grabbed the wrong bag. Imagine my surprise when I opened the bag and out fell a rusty epee that I haven't seen in months.
Have you ever been disarmed by a target? By which I mean hit it, and had the sword fly out of your hand. I don't want to achieve immortality through my work... I want to achieve it through not dying.
