Array I don't count anything. Actually, I visualize God's name in Hebrew, which is a Jewish meditation.
Does counting things actually work? -

Array Very rarely, usually for just a few minutes after I wake up. Most of the time I don't think I've been dreaming.

Depends on your translation. Fenris-ulfr is used as a proper noun in the same way that asa-Thor is, and it occurs unmodified as such in sources like Havamal and Voluspa. IMO the addition of the article to many an ON name is an unwarranted interpolation engaged in only to make English readers more comfortable... Originally Posted by Go? Fencing? How dark do you like your chocolate? Why sabre? Because you don't take heads with the point. -

Array I'm not picky! I don't mind how dark the chocolate is as long as it's NICE chocolate, none of this Hershey's stuff.
Why do I usually end up having a conversation about chocolate here? The Lady Riposter

So...you have time hanging out in the arcade while at work..? (And you thought I wasn't paying attention, ha!)
(And actually it's just Fenris to us. Not Fenrir or Fenris-ulv. So there!) -

But you are Swedish, not Icelandic--and Icelandic is the modern language closest to Old Norse--people who read Icelandic can read the Sagas in ON with little problem--which is the equivalent of a modern English speaker being able to read Beowulf!
