Array I don't think so. She seemed fine after awhile. People say that there are just a lot of blood vessels on the back of the head, so it (the bleeding) looked a lot worse than it really is.
Worse fencing injury you've gotten? (Or is that the worse one?) A synonym is a word you use when you can't spell the word you first thought of. -

Do you wear a bandanna when fencing? Why sabre? Because you don't take heads with the point. -

(Everybody has one somewhere!) Borrow a peasant-looking skirt if you don't have one - one that swirls nicely when slicing at people with the sabre you're going to borrow from the fencing team (because we all know you don't fence sabre, right?). Wrap a long gauzy scarf around your waist at a jaunting angle and tie it. Tuck said sabre into the scarf. Black boots, sexy and heeled, with black stocking. Preferably stocking - NOT pantyhose. A simple bandana on your head should do the trick.
Eye patch is optional. An eye patch just shows you didn't parry well enough.
Are you thinking of dressing as a pirate for Halloween as well? -
09-22-2006 01:35 PM #28069 wow... i am such a ditz... i actually forgot to grab my saber out of my bad yesterday after fenicng (i have 2 epees.. 3 foils.. and a dry saber in my bag) i didn't even think about bringin a weapon

Array Hmm... not sure yet.
What was your favorite halloween costume? "When your opponent fears you, then's the moment when you give the fear its own rein, give it the time to work on him. Let it become terror. The terrified man fights himself. Eventually he attacks in desperation. That is the most dangerous moment, but the terrified man can be trusted usually to make a fatal mistake. Array Nope, but I taught a novice class. I'm one of the captains in my club, and, at this point, the main teacher. (We're completely student-run.)
Do you like teaching? -
