Array You haven't missed a thing m'dear.
To answer your question, no I haven't any children. Something that surprises everyone in my family as I'm very nurturing. Instead I mother every creature that becomes part of our household... dogs cats, chickens... you name it.

Array My dad's family is from Ireland, my mom's is from Germany. I'm like a third or fourth gen American, though, so I guess I'll pick that.

Array Yes.

Array I don't know if it really counts as "abroad," but the last time I visited another country was when I was in Ystad about three weeks ago...

Array We came across this fairly isolated island while traveling on our boat. This guy built a “castle” out of concrete blocks and served breakfast and did tours for “tourists” (we were the only ones there).
He showed us his cheesy “gun towers” c/w fake guns… this is Canada eh? The equally cheezy dungeon and the “Bridal suite” c/w two twin beds!
He had about 6 mock-ups of his dream palace he had done prior to building (which he felt compelled to show us each one)…. For some reason his wife left him years ago.

Array Strange people stories? Sure. Once I was on this fencing related forum and there was this cougar...
j/k...Strange places? I was on the back roads of Tennessee and came to a t in the road. The place was pretty desolate. There were two houses a lot of open grass and a tiny general store/post office. We hadn't seen anothera car for an hour and aside from the elderly operator of the general store, there wasn't a soul around. Even so, right before the t there was a sign on the side of the road that read "Congested Area".

Array I'm on my second. My first lasted 16 years before I sold it. Although my husband is putting together a "fleet" in preparation for retirement.
