I dress like a hippie,
Act like a geek,
Fence like a Jedi.
I'm your basic weirdo!
Do you find that most fencers are pretty weird? |

| Heh... that's the flavour I'm drinking right now!
I wouldn't have gone for a number of reasons... among them that I had a massage planned (which was postponed from last Monday to Thursday, then Friday, then Saturday, then today) but was waiting for my massage therapist to call and tell me when, also that I didn't find out until today where it was. But I've found out where, and my massage got postponed again (to Tuesday, because I can't do it tomorrow since I'll be fencing), and I don't feel like not going because of my dad.
How do you capitalise "dad"? (I capitalise when using it as a name, such as, "I said to Dad..." but lower-case when it's with a possessive... "my dad".) |

| Yes, but I won't be getting one until Tuesday.
Didn't you see that I wasn't asking how it "should be" capitalised, but simply how "you" capitalise it? |

Do you think the US writing 'rules' differ from other countries, in terms of capitalisation, spacing etc?

| Yes... US "rules" are by popularity, rather than grammatical tradition. For example, so many people use "alright" that it is generally accepted as correct, in spite of the fact that it is supposed to be "all right" (as opposed to "all wrong"). I suspect that "alot" rather than "a lot" will soon follow.
Does improper grammar make you angry? |

Although, naturally it's easier for me to spot grammatical/spelling errors in my own native language than in english.
Does it bother you that some people don't bother to try writing somewhat readable?

| No way. I went on this. I shouldn't be. It might not seem huge, but let me tell you, when you go up that high that slowly and come down that far that quickly, with a few stops on the way up thrown in, it tends to seem a bit bigger. For some more proof, try this. This is like nothing you have ever seen, more over been on.
What is the biggest roller coaster you have been on? |

What's your favourite amusement park ride apart from rollercoasters?
