WHAT FACT??? I was born in Hong Kong and migrated to America after the handover. I'm not rich, but I'm certainty not some poor Chinese who can't afford to immigrate. And I never wanted to be Canadian. And what the heck does the handover of Hong Kong to China have to do with people being rich/poor to immigrate!?

Of course you never wanted to be a Canadian. Obviously you wanted to be an American. America only accepts the better of immigrants. That's why you are here instead of Canada. The chinese immigrants living in Toronto and Vancouver didn't have the money to immigrate to the states. Everyone wants to come to America.

Damn straight! It's bad enough that people think we blacks are already too horny. If I didn't straighten my hair then I would be walking around with what looks like pubic hair on my head. Then what would they say?

Alright, I'm bringing this back on topic. I'm a democrat, but that's not what I wanted to say. Here's my list of stuff I wanted to say:

1) Bush is not a Republican. He has overstepped the bounds of Republicanism and has created an even greater rift between Republicans and Democrats (who are NOT Conservatives and Liberals, respectively)
2) I think the only thing worse than people believeing everything they hear on Air America/Bill O'Reiley is... NOTHING! I can't stand it when people say they're reporting is fair and balanced (had to quote it ).
3) Call me whatever, but I sincerely respect Barak Obama and John McCain just because they listen to someone else besides themselves/Jesus.
4) Two least favorite politicians: Howard Dean and Tom Delay. They're stubborn and annoying.
5) Why am I a Democrat? Because I like a more socialist economic system and the Republicans are starting to scare me.

Am I the only person that thinks that there is something very wrong with that statement?

RL, you obviously havent read that quaint little saying on the tablet that Lady Liberty holds in her hand. It takes about the same amount of money to immigrate to Canada as it would to immigrate to the U.S. Saying that the Chinese that live in Canada are less than those that live anywhere in the US is just ignorant.

Just ignore him... he's not real bright. If he new anything about Chinese moving to Canada he would know they were buying multi-million dollar houses with cash.
They created quite a housing boom when there was all that uncertainty around Hong Kong a few years back.

Is babbling sounds all the same after awhile, consider him elevator music for the forum..... annoying but always there in the background.

OK. I challenge you to prove it. There is absolutely no reason to immigrate to Canada unless it is easier. Prove it.

You're right Inq, the Republicans do scare me by now. At least the majority who are becoming religious nuts just to get re-elected.

Speaking of religious nuts, I just had a dream where I was stabbed and killed by one. Anyone care to translate?

From a Freudian or a Jungian perspective?
