No way...It is nice to fence with lefties (and vice versa)
The purpose of tactic is to conquer the enemy with proper war movements and actions.

How's about seperate events for Classical and Modern Fencing?

Classical - highly mobile, heavy on angulated attacks and marching, flick to the back still a high percentage hit for the skilled

Modern - no delayed riposte, counterattack rules, everybody wears chest plates.

Better daft than draft! Wait...that would let us separate military and non-military fencers as well!

Where is the "floods of tears" smiley???

No need, yet - don't need to squeeze into my size 34 LP Ultralight until February... and have 12 days of throwing myself off a mountain before then (where calories used is always greater than all of the steak, cheese fondue and chocolate fondue you can eat... ) .

Not sure that it STARTED as a spoof thread... you would have to ask Drippingwet (who seems to be going for "most frequent thread starter" award this week... but has gone very quiet on this thread)???

Thank you esskreemr, will try to remember that ( )

No, your thinking of foil. It takes a weedy little guy to star in "The Crying Game". That's the typical foilist.
