Array Um, I don't know... I use dryer sheets, and those are nice. Proditio plerumque amatur, proditor odio habetur.

I air dry my fencing stuff, but fabric softener does wonders for my clothes! Don't let 'em drop it. Don'tlet'emdropit. Stop it... bebop it.

Array Indeed a question of great magnitude.
All I can say is when washing clothes or kit (or when having persuaded someone else to do your washing for you... ) use a softener and air dry. Your clothes will thank you! -

Array Fabric softner does really little to ballistic cloth, but I do add just a drip of essence of lavender in my wash cause I'm sensitive like that Heaven is where the police are British, the chefs Italian, the mechanics are German, the lovers are French, and its all organized by the Swiss. Hell is where the police are German, the chefs are British, the mechanics are French, the lovers are Swiss, and it's all organized by the Italians. Array It's not necessarily the kind of clothes that I have that would make me do my own laundry. I'm just really OCD about my laundry. I can't stand the thought of other people touching my clothes or whatever. If it was my parents... then it'd be sorta OK, but other people? Noooooooo. I wouldn't even take my clothes to a professional cleaners... I would only if I had to... and if it was a dry-cleaners only. -

Array I use Calgon water softener. It takes the minerals out of the water which can darken your whites. And it leaves the clothes soft but not perfumed. -
when you buy pants from GAP or DOCKERS that are stain free, the
staff tells you to dry them without fabric softeners.
I think that the stuff that they put in these stain free pants that make
water unabsorbed is the same kind that make the fencing jackets more
slippery.
Good for epeeists that get hit on the arms a lot. The blades just slide
instead of being absorbed. -

But seriously ( as the sober goat advised ), you, Zelda, are, as we all know, exceptional. Therefore, I excuse you from my sweeping generalization. Similar Threads -
