Point Control software warning

Greetings, all.

I want to warn anyone who is using Point Control software that there's a pretty big problem with version 2.2, which was available from the website for about the last month until today.

The bug appeared when I tried to improve the seeding into the pools. Instead, the program started leaving people out, just for fun, in some circumstances.

Regardless, it's fixed now. You can get the whole thing (release 2.3) at <a href="http://www.pointcontrol.com/download.html" target="_blank">http://www.pointcontrol.com/download.html</a> if you need the complete installer. Or, if you already have an earlier version (any earlier version), you can download just the newest executable at <a href="http://www.pointcontrol.com/PointControl23.zip" target="_blank">http://www.pointcontrol.com/PointControl23.zip</a>

Note that both these URLs are case-sensitive.

With the later, all you get is a zip of the executable. You'll need to unzip it into the C:\Programs\PointControl directory (or wherever you installed the program originally), replacing the previous executable. That will give you all the newest features.

You can get a complete list of updates and feature additions at <a href="http://www.pointcontrol.com/versions.html" target="_blank">http://www.pointcontrol.com/versions.html</a>

Thanks to everyone who has tried the program, and I'm sorry about the bug!
