AC recently hosted the junior Olympic qualifying fencing tournament for the Plains Texas division of the United States Fencing Association. Participants were from the Texas Panhandle only. Seven members qualified for the junior Olympics that will be held in Arlington in February. Those qualifying are Noah Burner, Alex Laugesen, Tarryn McKenzie, Daniel Orick, Ben Simpson, Danny Tickner and Cole Wramplemeier. For details about the AC team, call 371-5075.
