    Studies have shown that throughout the day a person's hormone levels fluctuate. In men, testosterone levels can reach mini peaks roughly every 6 seconds.

    I don't remember where I saw the study, or how accurate it was, but I can certainly vouch for the feeling, especially during my college years...
