Fortunately for Vila, the vampire was still grabbing the hunter with one hand. On the other hand, clothing was a hindrance.

The vampire barrelled Vila over causing her to flip over landing on her back. She let out a yelp and frantically got to her feet. She snarelled and raised her heckles at the vampire, who smirked and threw the hunter to one side.

She lowered her head and bared more gleaming teeth at the creature that had dared attack her. Just when it seemed she would spring and attack, she turned on a dime and sprinted down the alley near by.

Raze got to his feet and sashed after the woman as fast as his legs could carry him.

All that was returned were sobs. "It's o.k. child, the bad guys are gone." handing the girl the stuffed teddy bear that she had dropped. "Were are your folks?" the girl pointed down the street behind her.
Brandis then scooped her up and proceeded down the street. "Damn!" he thought, he got away, and WHO was that lycanthrope. All the while the child softly sobbed against his chest until he got to her home on 49th St. He put her down in front of her house and watched as she climbed the stairs to the building. Her parents did not see him, he was gone, but he had seen them. After that he hopped on the subway making its way out to Brooklyn, back to his loft. "Where are they all coming from?"
