Array Apocalyptica!!! Woo, I'm feeling random today. I was listening to music whilst practicing for an upcoming concert and Apocalyptica's In The Hall of The Mountain King came on and I just played along all by memory. Have any of you done that before? It's fun! I'm going to do it more often. I found a new band sooo, everyone let's talk music. There are loads of new artists out, who do you like?
Yes, I'm looking for more bands to listen to. *insane* Proditio plerumque amatur, proditor odio habetur.

Array And to think I always thought that song was by Edvard Grieg.
Or wait, no, it was The Who. Freedom of speech makes it easier to spot the idiots. -

Array I wouldn't say that Apocalyptica are exactly new.
Looking for new bands? Try:
Heard of Laibach? No? then check them out. If you're a muso you'll apreciate them.
Or how about Fantomas? Not exactly easy listening but there you go. -

Array I recently started to listen to a lot of Cake. Not a half bad band. Heaven is where the police are British, the chefs Italian, the mechanics are German, the lovers are French, and its all organized by the Swiss. Hell is where the police are German, the chefs are British, the mechanics are French, the lovers are Swiss, and it's all organized by the Italians. Array O.o Cake? Hehe, I don't know if it is just me but I get a picture of a college guy with a cake to his ear headbanging... weee.. no more sugar for me. Proditio plerumque amatur, proditor odio habetur.

Array Well the bands I listed are not exactly new either (especially Laibach). Rammstein would really love to be Laibach - but they aren't. Laibach have loads of albums ... trying to think of a good one for you to check out. Depends what you like I suppose. I quite like Opus Dei... They are famous (in my circle anyway) for their [strange] covers. As an example look up "let it be" or the truly great album "Jesus Christ Superstar".
Fantomas. Like I said, not easy listening but try "The Director Cut" it's their most accessible work. Highly pretentious but good if you can listen to experimental music.
On a lighter note try the Dust Junky's. No-one has heard of them but they producced a truly great album [Done and Dusted] before disapearing.
And for my final recommendation...
Look up Rico. Kind of a Scottish, Trip Hop, version of Trent Reznor. Start with the album Sanctuary Medicines. -

Array I think that page is great - I've seen it before.
It's one of their newer tracks. They were much better back in the day: funnier, more politically astute, interesting. It's also not a very good example of their stuff.
What can I say? They're from Slovenia. -

Array Betsy Randle- who by the way is the Mom on Boy Meets World and who I saw in her nightie, touched her ***, and have seen her changing backstage many times, gave me a new CD nut I don't remember it well. It was named like "Nazi Propaganda swing music" or something. Awesome.
