Array Has anyone seen this? Insipiens posted this on the UK board: http://www.athens2004.com/infographic/en/FE.html
It's pretty good. -
It was quite good, but whats up with 18 meter runway for sabre end epee, 14 m for foil? -

MR Why sabre? Because you don't take heads with the point. -

it was good. but in one of the frames, since the fencer is lefty, he got
the two sides mixed up. -

The web page it belongs to is part of the Athens olympics site I believe so it may disappear. There was some speculation on the UK forum as to whether it would be worth a fencing related site (hint hint Craig) taking over hosting it before the Athens site is closed down at some point. I caught this morning morning’s minion, king-
dom of daylight’s dauphin, dapple-dawn-drawn Falcon, in his riding
Of the rolling level underneath him steady air, and striding
High there, how he rung upon the rein of a wimpling wing
In his ecstasy! then off, off forth on swing,
As a skate’s heel sweeps smooth on a bow-bend: the hurl and gliding
Rebuffed the big wind. My heart in hiding
Stirred for a bird,—the achieve of; the mastery of the thing! -

Array Cool, but it moves way too quickly to take in all the info on each page. Not to mention some dubious info. (Like epee uses a rigid blade) "I live my life a bout at a time. Nothing else matters. Not the mortgage, not the store, not my team and all their bulls***. For those 15 touches or less, I am free." -

Array I was more focused on the fact that the lights went off for the wrong fencer... How old is this flash? Did they base if off of one of the previous olympics? "The greatest thing you'll ever learn
Is to parry, and riposte in return."

I thought the épée weight was 750, not 770....
Or maybe I'm tired and I saw it wrong. -

Array That's pretty darn cool. It reminds me of when I first learned how to salute and actually did it properly. Those were the days. Heaven is where the police are British, the chefs Italian, the mechanics are German, the lovers are French, and its all organized by the Swiss. Hell is where the police are German, the chefs are British, the mechanics are French, the lovers are Swiss, and it's all organized by the Italians. Array The lights are consistently on the wrong side and the length of the strips are wrong. Other than that, pretty neat. -
At least I avoided getting hit by that arrow last nite!
