Array Or they prefer to attack all the time, like one of my coaches.
Peach fenced her, I think, in the last vet's challenge. -

Peach fenced her, I think, in the last vet's challenge. If I remember correctly where you said that you fence (you're in NH, right?) I think I know who you mean. If I'm guessing right, I'd say she's just as good at drawing my stupid attacks as she is at attacking -- talk about your wily vets. -

Array Yvonne Walton. She's a lot of fun to fence. -

Array Yes she is! That was a fun bout, even if she had just finished winning the foil and was just playing sabre. "Arm yourself, Watson, there is an evil hand afoot ahead." -- Dennis Pierce, 2010 Bulwer-Lytton contest, detective fiction category runner-up. -

Array Ya those wily old coots know a thing or two about fencing gotta love it. If they're too old to attack then they work on their defensive and some of them have the best parries I've seen. Could be their precise classical upbringing- parrying straight from blade, onto target not some of the swirly flourishy things you can get these days. Array I try to learn more of their defensive than their offense because their 'classical' training can be quite impenetrable. Heaven is where the police are British, the chefs Italian, the mechanics are German, the lovers are French, and its all organized by the Swiss.
