Don't try to determine you own faith,

you'll merely confuse yourself. Let the wonders of technology give you the soul-searching answers that you desire. Why risk wasting a lifetime in some religion that may or may not fulfill your spiritual needs:

I still say that there are more of us (Unitarians) than know it. Many people when describing their own religius beliefs virtually quote UU canon, but don't know it.

Oh Gadzooks. I'm almost a Protestant!!! Right after being a Unitarian Universalist! What's up with that?

I don't understand yet. I may have research still to do before I can accept this result!

Why are you surprised that those would end up scoring closely?

Other than DFP who's managed to get the beliefs of one without those of the other, notice that they score similarly on nearly everyone here.

If I had to assign myself I think secular humanist is the closest of the available options, although UU scored higher on this quiz (slightly).

For reference, growing up I was in a mostly non-practicing liberal protestant family that attended christmas eve services (at the protestant (denomination???) church my mother attended growing up) and easter services (nondenominational UU service down the street from my house) and not much else. Interestingly enough those two (liberal protestant and UU) round out my top-3 from the quiz.

Now that I'm down in Pennsylvania, perhaps I should check out liberal quakerism. :) Not sure I'll ever get to Buddhism in any form.

My result (post #3 in this thread) came as no suprise. Liberal Protestant chruches are those I have always attended. Though I would have though Secular Humanism would be higher, and would not have though Catholocism would be last

The other test I took was better. It was easier to choose what you really believed. This way you almost had to just find the closest option possible.

Courage doesn't always roar. Sometimes courage is the quiet voice at the end of the day saying "I will try again tomorrow."
