Results from LAST YEARs penn state open?

I poked around the PSU website and was unable to find results from...anything.
It doesn't seem as intuitively designed as alot of other college fencing programs websites.
Either way, does anyone know off the top of their heads or by a link possibly what the results are from last years penn state open? I really wanted to go, but haven't been home in a while and I need to visit my cat and hopefully get my thumb x-rayed(another reason I probably shouldn't fence it )) and was curious to see what the field has looked like in past years.

I think they actually had the results in one of the usfa's magazine. If you have yours around somewhere, you should check last winter's edition, though, from what I remember, it was pretty predictable results (most psu fencers won).

The only place I remember seeing complete results was in a media guide/brochure type of thing that Penn State sent me when I was applying. I think that Marten Zagunis won last year, but I could be mistaken... going off of memory here.

I'd assume that PSU's whole team will be there, so it would be a stronger field than Temple was.

And now I have to go and pack (our bus leaves at 3, for the wonderful 4 hour drive through rural PA)

Good luck if you decide to attend!

4 hours?! thats it?! you are so lucky. try riding on a bus for 9-10 hours through the night just to wake up from sleeping on the bus to go fence. now thats wonderful.

Actually I'll be doing that next month when we come down to your place

As for Penn State, I just got back... I ended up somewhere between 17-24, made the final pool but didnt make DE's. When I left, the top 4 was underway, Ghattas had just lost to this guy from PSU (who i've never seen but apparently he's world ranked) and Rogers was about to fence Crompton for the other finals spot.

If anyone comes across the full results from this year before I do, be kind and post a link? I'm curious to see exactly where I ended up.

    Wow ohio went?
I really wish I'd gone now. But I'm pretty sure my cat will be alive for a few more days because I visited, and my thumb feels better.
The guy who you'd never seen before could be...some german, who's name I forgot, but have heard he's the #1 jr. MS fencer in the world currently. Alex Weber 2.0 kindof.

Yes, ohio went, and I got stuck with rogers in my first AND second pools. d'oh.

A quick check of the FIE site turns up Nicolas Limbach in 1st and Franz Boghicev in 2nd, both germans. The PSU roster says Franz Boghicev- a freshman. That sabre team just keeps getting better. It's gonna be downright scary in a couple years.

in MF, Nonpatat Panchan easily demolished this polish guy for the gold, and in ME, Soren beat Ben Solomon for the gold. Yeah Princeton!

The competition this year was incredibly deep compared to previous years, the return of Notre Dame and the addition of Ohio State made the finals look more like those of a div 1 competition than a regional college tournament...
