Array Fencer of the year 2004 Escrime-Info, the French version of Fencing.net has a number of polls running right now to vote for fencer of the year in each weapon.
Take a look at this page, which has links to all the polls and current results: http://www.escrime-info.com/modules...hp?forum=28&347
and cast your vote! You can do so until November 30th.
For each weapon, lists are made with top 4 fencers in the Olympics, 2004 senior World Cup rankings and 2004 senior FIE rankings. Michel

Array Couldn't find it, but for Men's Foil I would give it to Sanzo for the incredible year he has had. Cassara and Guyart are probably 2nd and 3rd respectively. Heaven is where the police are British, the chefs Italian, the mechanics are German, the lovers are French, and its all organized by the Swiss. Array I think that they were extremely generous or biased in voting for Guyart. He did win the Gold in Athens, but over a calender year, Sanzo truly has put together a solid resume supporting his claim to the title. Bissdorf has only been a shadow of his previous self really, but I hope that he can still put together some results.
