What fun a tournament can be when you relax and just...have fun. Also fun when other schools bring 9 million people each, with a disproportionately large number of attractive females
But yeah..I met alot of people from other schools and pretty much everyone was really, really nice. Specifically the temple girls. Only negative side is that it's 3:30 a.m. now and I just walked in my door after a 5-6ish hour drive.

| Ty was 9th, Eskin and Orin were both rd of 16, or so my sketchy report said. Mmmm, somewhere in this room I probably have complete results. I just got back from Louisville so don't know where anything might be.

| I'm pretty sure I was 9th... I left before the top 8 got underway but I was 3rd seed going into DE's, and I lost to Gardner-Mims for the top 8. The only two seeds above me (Newkirk and Cappetta) made it into the top 8. So that should place me at 9th.

If it was just additional information to the board, nm.

| Ahhh ok gotcha, you mentioned Eskin was top 16 and he was in my event, so I figured the rest must be sabre.
If anyone does know the full sabre top 8 though I'm interested to see.

would also like to say that it was a very awesome tournament and my 1st time going. i was pleased with the turnout for womens foil and the level of fencing. now it's time to gear up for penn state this weekend!

| Eskin and I each lost 1 bout in each round of pools, despite not really fencing well in the second round. Unfortunately, this put him in the 7th seed, and myself in the 10th and we met in the 16 - so only one of us made the 8.
The rest of the top 8 was, as I remember it:
1. flanders
2. white
3. gardner-mims
3. press
And in no particular order:
capetta
newkirk
jones
dorris-pierce
