Array That would be so awesome. Teacher asks for homework. "An F-16 shot it." "Sure...."
But It would be cool to see your desk sawn in half. or with big giant pieces ripped out of it. I think it's every elementary school kid's dream to see a squadron of fighter jets rip that terrible symbol of childhood oppression into sawdust. -

Array Wow, I wish that happened to me when I was in elementary school. It would be so awesome coming to school with a few dozen two inch holes going through every wall. "In offering to you, my countrymen, these counsels... But, if I may even flatter myself, that they may be productive of some partial benefit, some occasional good; that they may now and then recur to moderate the fury of party spirit, to warn against the mischiefs of foreign intrigue, to guard against the impostures of pretended patriotism; this hope will be a full recompense for the solicitude for your welfare, by which they have been dictated." - George Washington -

Array Yeow.
Is it possible that there is a pilot trying to avoid being sent to Iraq?
My paternal grandfather was drafted into the US Army during WWI. At one point he was given training on a heavy machinegun. One slight problem: he did not speak a word of English. After nearly mowing down a column of troops drilling nearby, there was a brief investigation followed by a swift and unceremonious discharge... -

LMAO!! Uhm...give me a break? Isn't that a rather dangerous way of getting out of the war? And NO ONE unless your severly retarded and don't understand the prospect of getting shot, dying, and not coming back, would even get near mowing down their own troops. -

Array I think it's pretty clear what really happened.
New Jersey went for Kerry. Two days later, it's attacked by elements of the military. Coincidence?????

Array Oh give me a break, New Jersey didn't get "attacked" as you claim because of voting for kerry, and if you realize, by stating that it is a general statement that ALL the people there voted for kerry because he got the electoral votes, no, it wasn't like kerry got 95%+ of their votes. And if you read, the target range was 3.5 miles away, at 7,000 feet and in an airplane, 3-4 miles is a VERY short amount of time. -

Array It's presumable no one on this board has much of a sense of humor, so why should I bother? There are maybe...5 that can joke on something and not make themselves sound like an ***, so I don't bother.

You misunderstand, it was not an intentional attempt on his part, he just didn't understand the instructions and when his turn came he just "winged it". Previously no one had cared enough that he spoke no English.
But it is possible that someone came up with a really huge bungle as a ploy.
