Nice pix, Soldier. CO has great views. Did you get a chance to see Black Canyon at Gunnison yet?

Lack of a car makes it rather tough to get around here, so no.

I'm quite enjoying the view on my way back from breakfast!

    Soldier, do you fly?

There's nothing like being in a glider in the mountains.

That is the United States Air Force Academy. I forget exactly which building that is (the chapel, I think?), as I'm much more versed in the lay out of West Point (having a friend going there).

Damn you, soldier! I want snow! I feel so left out We still have leaves on the trees/trees with leaves that fall off.

Actually, I'll be getting back into the gliders quite soon. Unfortunately, my current GPA isn't high enough for me to become an instructor pilot just now.

That is definitely the chapel, which happens to house the world's second-largest Wurlitzer pipe organ (West Point sports the first). You should see the inside of it at sunrise...

It looks absolutely fantastic! (And I sort of thought it'd be a church-like building.)

    Very nice pics indeed!
