Unconfirmed
Array George Bush would ban fencing competitions! A shocking comment issued during one of President Bush's final campaign speeches before the election: "I promise to keep America safe from terrorism, allow our wealthiest residents to invest more of their hard-earned money in the economy, and eliminate all effeminate fencing competitions ... especially the sissy foil. America can only stand strong if we do not allow our children to play with swishy swords."
Obviously, we cannot allow this to occur. So vote today, vote Kerry, and vote often. -

Array Yes, I was shocked too. When I read this, I was outraged. I was a FIRM Bush supporter before this. I was willing to accept the abolition of the Public Education system. I was willing to accept the 6 hours of Christian oriented theology in schools. I was willing to accept changing the "under God" to "under Jesus Christ". I was willing to accept the Constitutional amendment banning marriage between homosexuals and interracial couples.
But this is the last straw! "Since when does being a patriot in America mean shutting your mouth?"

You almost had me. That mark about foil being sissy just gave it away -
Although in one of the earlier debates, Kerry DID imply that he was anti-flick. Some of you Bush supporters may try to deny that, but it happened, and it's real. -

Array Wel.....I can see it, if he's only talking about banning foil. I mean, foils just look evil, right? And those foilists! I mean, doesn't foil get more black cards than the other two weapons combined? I'm sure that banning foil is for the good of us all and won't lead to the banning of other weapons.*sarcasm* John Matus
