    Begining Footwork and blade work

    Im begging in foil and I need to know some drills and training tips for general foot work and blade work for a foil. I would like some help if anybody has got some ideas.

    Have you tried asking your coach? That's why you're paying him/her the big bucks. Easier to start out by doing things correctly the way your coach wants them done than to try to pull something together from various text sources and make it into a cohesive whole.

    Also, after asking your coach, see if your club has a website. My club lists footwork drills and point control. They really help!!! Good luck fencing. It's awesome.
