Aaah. You're lucky. I'm from an all weapon club, but we're mostly centered around foil and sabre. And of course, I fence Epee (notice the capital 'E')
    • Epee is the Louis Vuitton bag of fencing: only the best can get it, and the rest of the masses must content themselves with cheap knockoffs (sabre, foil)
    • To not recognize the power of the French grip is to be in denial

We have all three weapons. MOstly foil for the high schoolers, epee id dominated by older kids and adults. There are only a few sabruers.

Foil is our main weapon at SCFC, but we do have coaches available (& quite willing!) to teach epee & sabre.

All three weapons at our club. The coaches are primarily foil and epee but are willing and able to coach sabre, and we have a great part-time sabre coach.

    Hi

Primarily epee and foil with a little saber thrown in for good measure. In the off season we add electric shinai and /or sabre with electric main gauche.

We do all three at SLF as well. Everyone learns foil, but most of the experienced fencers do Epee as well--I tried it and liked it, but am trying to stick with my vow to not buy anymore fencing equipment, besides what's necessary for repairs, until later this year. Usually you can find someone fairly easily who'll fence epee with you if you want. We have a few sabreurs as well although not as many and we don't see much sabre practice unless there's a tournament coming up soon. I've been told that I might make a good "sabre chick", and I've wanted to try it, so eventually I may end up as a three weapon person. At least two of our coaches, possibly all of them, but two that I know of, will give private lessons in any weapon. We do have a few three weapon people too. Basically, you can find someone who'll fence you any weapon, but for anything besides foil you have to ask.

Epee, Foil and only a couple of people willing to do occasional sabre. I am the best sabre person at our salle. It's been my primary weapon for years. I also fence in Milwaukee, sometimes, and they seem to be mostly foil with a little sabre and epee.

Mostly foil, a few of us do sabre ( making up in passion what we lack in numbers ). There's been very little epee, mostly because out coach doesn't like it and was reluctant to teach it. Still, sometimes when we have guest-fencers from elsewhare the epees come out.

Depends on the night. I fence Mondays and Thursdays - Epee nights. They also feature Sabre (Mon) and allegedly Foil (Thurs) but people hardly ever turn up. Surprisingly only my Epee crowd take training seriously and make the effort. The Sabreurs and foilists seem to be happy to stick to the beginner night on Wednesdays and train 1/2 heartedly then hit the pub. Us Epeeists also turn up fairly regularly at other clubs to get more experience and maybe get time off other coaches. This is our main problem - coach time - so if anyone out there is in Scotland and is a good Epee coach [looking for a club] me a PM or leave a reply...

We have fenders in all three weapons but only have coaches in foil and sabre.

I started the "épée movement" in our club, but we still have to go elsewhere for coaching.

2 and 2. My home club is mainly foil, with a few sabreurs thrown in. The club at university are all epeeists. Some of them can be convinced to fence foil occasionally, under continuous protest. I am thinking of starting an underground movement. The first step will be to take some of my epeeists friends to my home club...

We fence mosty foil. But have many people interested in Sabre too. Now, that we have a Sabre coach I think we'll turn into a two weapon school. If we could get a good Epee coach then that'll be great. I think every school should teach all three weapons. All Fencers should get exposed in all weapons I think.

mainly foil, with some Epee and Sabre thrown in for good measure. The club holds various weapon comps through the year. but mainly foil. which is my weapon of choice.

We have all three weapons though saber is spotty at best. Sometimes we have no one sometimes we have 6 or so. There is a saber only club in town so a lot of the dedicated ones go there.

Epee usually has the most people though foil can sometimes rival it. This year we are forcing all beginners to satrt in foil so then it will probably pass epee.

We have a very large Sabre club and are now building a foil program that is coming along nicely.

Well, we have the ones on the rack, the ones in the trash can, the broken ones in the locker, and the ones in our hands. Sorry, couldn't resist. Anyhoo, we're 3-weapon because we have a few different coaches. Primarily epee though, I'd guess. foil is close behind.
