ahhh....

nah, it was definitly the 6 hrs I spent at the students' union last night (comedy club / cheesy 70s disco)

...altho I can be fairly "random" anyway - a mate of mine has a theory that if I were to drink alcohol, I might actually behave more normally than I do now...

hey and I met another fencer while I was there... they /are/ everywhere!

If you can sew you could just pick up a replacement zipper for about a dollar or two at a clothing store. The last zipper I broke was on my jacket; it came through the wash and the next day I went to fence the zipper was gone and one of the little metal tab things that stop it from coming off wasn't there. I just bought a zipper that looked about the right size and had the same plastic teeth as my BG stretch jacket, slipped my new zipper on and fastened the tab from the zipper I dismantled in the right place, sewed the cloth over to hold it proper and the job was done.
