    Quentin Competition

Since an overwhelming amount of us like Quentin so much, I decided to do a poll deciding what was the best Quentin Movie. This was originally just going to be between Pulp Fiction and Reservoir Dogs, but I couldn't reallyleave out the rest of Tarantino's masterpieces.

Edit: The poll thing didn't work for some reason. 2nd time this happened. Anyway, just say what you're favorite QT movie is. Put the number of the movie in your post.
    1. Dusk til Dawn
    2. Jackie Brown
    3. Pulp Fiction
    4. Reservoir Dogs
    5. Kill Bill volume 1 and 2
    6. True Romance
    7. Segment in "Four Rooms"

    5. Only because Lucy Liu's head gets chopped off. And the action. And the sword's. And the part where she climbs out of the grave. Hell, I love the whole thing.
I'm not suffering from insanity. I'm enjoying every minute of it.

Yeah, but so is Pulp fiction. The scene with the sword, the bit where the guys head is blown off, the end with the giant monologue.....

Yeah, but to be fair, so did True Romance. I think part of the problem is that Pulp is the one that everyone saw. Not everyone's seen his others.

Kill Bill I&II are like A-rated
Pulp..... A-rated but hasn't competed in 4-yrs... B (correction by Inquartata)
Reservoir Dogs.. a solid C-rating because it showed his promise early on
True Romance... D-rated because he employed Christian Slater
Jackie Brown.... E-rated; needed some more work
Dusk till Dawn.... Unrated cause he should have stayed sober the night before he decided to make this film.
    What was 'Four Rooms' about?

    Um...

True Romance, and Dusk till Dawn are very different from the others.

He only wrote them. He didn't direct, nor have as much control over them. And then you also have to consider adding Natural Born Killers to the list since he wrote the story on that as well.

Having seen True Romance, he uses so much of the same dialogue and ideas in later movies, like Pulp. But Pulp had his flair.

Out of his movies, the answer is easily Pulp. Out of movies his written, True Romance, and the cast on that was incredible.

He didn't direct Natural Born Killers, but he did direct True Romance. I know because I double-checked. But I love the scene in True Romance where Dennis Hopper's getting the crap beaten out of him and he proves that the sicilians actually have (black) blood in them. They get Reaaly pissed. One way to go.... And then there's the scene in Resercoir dogs where the cop's telling these guys his made-up story about the bathroom. That is perhaps the greatest directed scene of all time.

    Tony Scott directed True Romance.

Take a look at some other films that Tony Scott directed.

If you've seen True Romance, and any of Tony Scott's other films, you'll see the similarities in camera use, look, and feel of the movie.

You'll also notice how different Pulp Fiction is in terms of camera, look, and feel, but similiar in dialogue and characters.

Nah. I can't get into the brat pack, never mind the Presidential Office. Although, I think being a member of the brat pack may automatically disqualify you from the presidency.

I never thought I would see the day when I could say I 100% agree with Achillieus.

Strangly, I am writting this, "Scooby Snacks" by Fun Lovin Criminals is playing which includes a couple Tarantino Quotes sampled in.
