    Fencing.net Membership Level

    I was just wondering how one gets their membership level raised. Is it based on number of posts? And if so how many do you need for different levels? Or is it based on reputation points?

    Thanks Everyone.

    Member = 30 posts
    Senior Member = 100 posts

    Green dots on the side = rep points

    It used to be that you could only use custom avatars when you were a senior member. Now, it appears that the only advantage to being a member or a senior member is the title.

    Go green member--pay Craig $24/year for his great work or write an article that is published on fencing.net.
    Why sabre? Because you don't take heads with the point.

    Thanks for telling me. I just couldn't figure out where the different levels began. What are the green dots? I haven't seen any before.

    I think I may have figured it out my self. Are they the green rectangles, i.e. Posts: 20 (green rectangles) that when you go over them they say something about you?

    The green dots represent your reputation points, which you can see in your control panel. Everyone starts off with a mildly positive rep; people will give you points for being especially helpful or cool or just because they're bored and it's a Thursday, or the admins will take away points if you're a problem child. Most people have one green dot, some have two or three, and a few earn a red dot by dropping into the negative.
