| I heard the event ran smoothly enough, although (as predicted) not all the preregs showed up. Men's epee might not have made the A4 level after all.
Utilizing online advance payment systems may eliminate false preregistrations in the future. We'll see. |

| The event was pretty nice. For Men's epee, there was an interruption between pools and DE to celebrate the contributions of coach Gerard Poujardieu. It was pretty emotional. I believe that the event ended as an A04. There were 13 A's and about 15 B's that showed up.

As opposed to those A tournaments that give out non-current-year ratings?

Oh, LOL.. I get it now...
I don't have the full details on the number in front of me, but the events that I do remember the numbers for are
Men's Epee 75 (A4)
Women's Foil 30 (B2)
Women's Sabre 29 (D1)
Men's Sabre 43 (B2) (We had only one A, and heaven knows Tomaz is good enough for one too)

| Wait, so for those, the number after indicates how many A's, etc were given? Or what? |

Oh hell, just go to the USFA website and look up the ratings chart. |

It's not quite as simple as the number indicating the number of classifications, but an A4 is a bigger tournament than an A1, and gives out correspondingly more goodies. |

| Results Hi all-
The results for the Longhorn are here.
(Not that I'm responsible for the tournament directly, but since no-one else has posted the link yet, I figured I would.)
Looks like it was a great tournament!
cheers-

Anybody tried telling the USFA this about national tournaments? | MTD suggestion to check the alternate source for the results is confusing. Women's epee has first and second place reversed and the change in ranking from B to A for Williams is consequently also wrong |

There was a paper error the BC made... |
