PS : the mask should (and will) be prohibited... thats not a movie, thats not espn Xgames, thats fencing ... u know, the stuff where u must RESPECT the other side...

PS2 : u can argue with golub as a ref, being a god as a fencers dosnt prevent u from making mistakes, just he is pretty smart, cool, friendly and respected by the fencers to make the discussion being pleasant for the audience (only )

Golubitsky friendly? I had the luck to meet him this summer, and he was every bit as unpleasant as a human being can be. Very cocky, egotic, and unpleasant.

And he has screwed numerous fencers I know as a ref.

I liked that mask though. Much cooler than the see-through ones

yeap sure golub must be this kind of guy, BUT by freindly i mean he was simply not agressive as a ref , as some of them can be, of course its my lack of vocabulary that leads to "friendly", u could also use "suffisant" haha

on the other side : the mask is maybe cool for training, but its a shame in WC !!! this guy as no respect for the others, thats fun when u see it on tv , i dont think u d laugh that much if u had to fence urself !
Anyway i guess that this kind of stuff will be prohibited by the next rules ....

Mike, he did not actually wear this mask. He had a clown face painted on it.
