    It probably also has something to do with the Olympics being over and Cliff finishing his business schooling so he can get a job in the real world.

    Still...I'd like to have him at Nimes.

    The closest he came to fencing since the Olympics was fencing for the NYAC team in the Div I Nationals Men's Foil Team event. He wasn't even the anchor fencer: Jed Dupree is. Kinda reminds me of the Godfather series when the next generation person becomes the new Don (Michael after Vito, and then Vincenzo after Michael).

    We'll just have to wait and see if he does a Nick Bravin (retires completely to start his professional life) or an Ann Marsh (backs off for a season or two to get the degree done, then comes back to competition).
