Array Those who get points at circuits and National events are the one who get to go. Simple as that "Kill the men, save the women, and by the gods, do not spill the wine" -

Array It probably also has something to do with the Olympics being over and Cliff finishing his business schooling so he can get a job in the real world.
Still...I'd like to have him at Nimes. -
Isn't he 3/4's retired anyway? Like Sam said, focusing on the real world... -

Array The closest he came to fencing since the Olympics was fencing for the NYAC team in the Div I Nationals Men's Foil Team event. He wasn't even the anchor fencer: Jed Dupree is. Kinda reminds me of the Godfather series when the next generation person becomes the new Don (Michael after Vito, and then Vincenzo after Michael).
Suddenly, Jed is the new Don. -

Array Jed does look like a new DON of an era.
Sorry, couldn't help it.
My bad..... "Kill the men, save the women, and by the gods, do not spill the wine" -
We'll just have to wait and see if he does a Nick Bravin (retires completely to start his professional life) or an Ann Marsh (backs off for a season or two to get the degree done, then comes back to competition). "I love deadlines. I love the whooshing noise they make as they go by."
