I'm a member of several forums, but this is my first fencing forum. Looking forward to learning a few things. I started fencing 6 years ago. I haven't fenced in a year as our club disbanned because too many of the kids started college and our coach was having health problems (she got into a sport less physically demanding and is now on the verge of making the US Shooting Team). I keep telling myself I'm going to workout on my own, but my business has been really busy the past 13 months, and yada, yada, yada. I just can't do it on my own, and I'm really frustrated about it. You know how it goes. I'm a nationally known jeweler and designer (10 of my designs will begin appearing in stores across the country in Jan/05). I'm married with no kids, but do have a very strong willed German Shepherd who makes up for the no kids part (as do my 16 nieces and nephews). I collect guns, knives and swords, and have some cool ( I think anyway) ideas for advancing the sport of fencing through changes in the technology.
