    War

    This here flash movie

    I love this movie.

No, it's not in English, and no I don't know what language it's in, nor do I know what the lyrics mean, nor is it relevant to the movie.

    That's ah.... interesting.
    Catchy tune though.

Yes, that's the song. (It's in the credits at the end)

Anyone know what language it's in? I'm pretty sure it's Latin-based ("et" seems to mean "and"), but I know it's not French, and it doesn't sound like Spanish.

i edited my previous post at the same time you posted this. they're from norway and i can't get a clean translation from any site online that i've found. not even enough to really get the gist of the song. oh well.

I believe the language is Rumanian, but I could be wrong.

That was my guess, because it doens't sound like Portugese, French, Spanish, Italian, or even English (not a Romance language, but rather Latin-based nonetheless). Thus the only Romance language left...

Reminds me of the Uhlmann/Allstar thread, where even though people had already pointed out the connection between the two companies, people kept throwing goofy ideas into the pot for no reason :P

Oooh, the internet. Anonymous postings of ridiculous opinions for years to come.

    Cheers.

anyway, here's the translation for the lyrics:

I plead to you. Help, Father help me
I'm standing in boots of concrete, Father help me

I just watched this on mute while the radio was playing "Where is my mind?" by the Pixies. It made the movie that much cooler.

Forgive my inability to infer volumes from your laconic posting.
You said the band was from Norway, but that doesn't ipso facto mean they are singing in Norwegian.
    Thanks for clearing that up.

As a swede, neighbouring Norway, I can confirm that they are indeed singing in norwegian.
Our languages are very closely related and they sing in one of the two major norwegian "languages" (no, not accents) called Nynorsk ("New norwegian").

Rats! And I had it pegged for "Old Norwegian" greyvnorsk.

I don´t really feel like downloading a big chunk of bits right now, but if someone posts the original text in Norwegian I can translate it. Norwegian and Swedish are really close, and we can carry on a conversation in our respective languages without problems.

    Have a nice time!
