Political Inclinations of Fencers-Any Generalizations?

I have participated in a number of sports, including ski racing, skydiving (and BASE jumping), cycling and ultramarathon running. I am still running and fencing. My Mom is thrilled I stopped BASE jumping (parachuting off of fixed objects).

In many of these sports, there was a tendancy for the participants to lean one way or the other politically. I'm curious if folks have noticed any inclination in either direction among fencers. It's possible there may be a geographical correlation, but I thought I would see if folks thought there was a general tendancy towards D or R, conservative or liberal among fencers.

Any thoughts?

I haven't noticed any tendency one way or another, except that we're ornery and opinionated.

We had a poll awhile ago on polical preference. I think the people on this board were mostly Democrats.
