    This'll be fun...

    Where do these two sentence fragments come from and why are they relevent to the current Iraq war debates.

    ...a decent respect to the opinions of mankind requires that they should declare the causes which impel them...

    ...appealing to the Supreme Judge of the world for the rectitude of our intentions...

    I'd post the entire sentences but then that would give away the answer.

    They both are from the Declaration of Independence.

    And what Iraq War Debates are you referring to? The national debate on war in general or our Fencing.net debates on separation of church and state and Bush's use of theological influence to form his decisions and policies?

    I mean the national debate about how and why the US entered Iraq. Just thought I'd change the subject a bit. Though fear not I'm about to step into the religion debate.
