| How many grips are there? How many different types of grips are there?I know of a few but it'll be great if someone could list out most of the grips and maybe post a pic of them so that I can find out what grips there are around.Thanks. |

| Off the top of my head I can think of French, Italian, Visconti, Belgian, and Russian. I also encountered one once that I think was called a Spanish grip. It was a single long tang with a downward finger grip. I'm told those are illegal.

| Look on some fencing vendor sites for pictures (Triplette and Santelli seem to have some nice shots). Keep in mind that not all grips of the same name/size are the same if they come from different manufacturers. For example, an Ulhmann Visconti small is too small for me, but a Leon Paul Visconti small feels great. |

| I mean, there can be potentially infinite different grips, and who knows how many had been made in the past, so basically, your question as is, cannot be answered. I'd say generally speaking, there are probably about 10 basic designs which are most common. |
