    It's only too obvious =

= that I have had far too much free time today. So, I think I'll take my own advice and find one of these Top 10 Things I could do in my Free 5 minutes!!

(Shouts of "yeah and cheer" are heard from the crowd!)

Top Ten Things I can do with my Free 5 Minutes.

    1. Read my mail.

    2. Check my weekly appointment schedule.

    3. Write a note to a local broadcaster, or even dictate a memo into a portable cassette recorder.

    4. See who is within a few keystrokes to chat with ... (looks around?)

    5. Outline my thoughts on paper for an upcoming speech or maybe a future post!

    6. Make a quick phone call.

    7. Practice deep breathing/relaxation exercises. (Thoughts and visions of Inq, slowing fading.)

    8. Read something close by that I would not otherwise take time to examine. Platform material? National Security Reports?

    9. Clear away my clutter! Delete clipboard.

    10. Floss my teeth. Bright Smile!

I'm on AIM pretty constantly, chatting with fencing.net buddies.

Got to get yourself an instant messenger or three, then you can see who's around from fencing.net to say hi to!

You could visualize your favorite fencing action, and imagine five different responses to it. Think about what you would do with each of those responses. Feint with an advance (lateral parry attempt) disengage with lunge. Feint with an advance (retreat) advance lunge. Feint with advance (circular parry attempt) double. Etc etc. That would be an entertaining way to spend five minutes without electronic gadgets or the necessity of actually talking with people.
