Found this yesterday, it looks REALLY fun. Its basically a month out of the year (November) where you force yourself to write a 50k work novel. The point is to actually make you write one, because most people want to write a novel and put one off. I just thought I'd share this with anyone, and maybe exchange finished works with anyone here that does it. (Yes, I am going to do it, even though what I produce will probably be complete crap) |

| Yeah, its 50k plus words. Its supposed to be fiction, but I suppose you could do a narrative of a true event if you wanted. The point is to just write and see what comes out - Do the refining later. I'm doing it just because I know I'll never write something that big unless there is a real deadline and rush to do it. | |

| Its not just fantasy - Its varied fiction. I posted it here for maximum visibility. The fencing communnity seems very talented and creative, so I thought this would be a good thing for a lot of the people here. Of course, those hermits in fantasy land don't look out for sun a lot, so I'll put it there I guess.

| Doesn't have to be fantasy to go there; it's just for writing in general.
